FundMyAgent LLC (“FundMyAgent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit FundMyAgent.com (“Platform”) and use our services.
By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (or authentication credentials if you sign in through Google or GitHub OAuth). When you create or edit your profile, we may collect your display name, avatar image, biographical information, website URL, GitHub URL, and Twitter/X URL.
When you create a campaign, we collect the campaign title, description, category, funding goal, images, videos, and any updates you post. When you make a donation, we collect your name (or chosen display name), email address, donation amount, payment method selection, and any optional message to the Creator. If you use guest checkout, we collect your email address and payment information.
When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information processed through Stripe, including your payment card details (which are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers).
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages visited and time spent on each page, click patterns and navigation paths, and date and time of your visit.
We collect this information through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies. See Section 6 (Cookies) for more details.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
If you sign in using Google or GitHub OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from those services. We receive payment and transaction information from our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, and Coinbase Commerce). We may receive analytics data from third-party services such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or PostHog.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes: to operate, maintain, and improve the Platform; to process donations and manage campaign funding; to create and manage your account; to communicate with you about your account, donations, campaigns, and Platform updates; to send email notifications about campaign updates, comments, and follows (based on your notification preferences); to process subscription payments and manage your plan; to verify Creator identities for fund withdrawal through Stripe Connect; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; to enforce our Terms of Service; to comply with legal obligations, including tax reporting; to analyze usage patterns and improve the user experience; and to send marketing communications (only with your consent, and you may opt out at any time).
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as tax reporting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution). Donation records and transaction history may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and regulatory compliance. Campaign content that has received donations will be archived rather than deleted to preserve the record for Donors.
5. Your Rights and Choices

You may access, update, or correct your account information at any time by logging into your account and visiting your profile settings.
5.2 Email Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email. You may configure your notification preferences (instant, daily digest, or weekly digest) in your account settings. Transactional emails (such as donation receipts and account security notifications) cannot be opted out of, as they are necessary for Platform operation.
