What is "Fund Their Stack"?
It's an earmarked cash donation model. When a creator links their AI stack (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS), donors can designate their donation for a specific platform cost. The money still flows to the creator's bank account via Stripe Connect — it's simply publicly labeled and tracked.
Does the money go directly to OpenAI/Anthropic/etc.?
No. All donations go to the creator's connected bank account via Stripe Connect. The earmark is a public label that signals donor intent — it helps creators understand what their community wants them to spend on.
How do creators link their stack?
Creators go to their campaign edit page and toggle on the AI platforms they use. Once linked, donors will see those platforms in the donation modal and can choose to earmark their contribution.
Can I still make a regular cash donation?
Absolutely. The donation modal lets you switch between a regular cash donation and earmarked stack funding. Both options are always available.
Is earmarking binding?
Earmarking is a social signal, not a legal obligation. It represents donor intent and creates public accountability. Creators are encouraged to honor earmarks, and their spending transparency builds community trust.
